What Happened?
Pearl Harbor was a naval base located in Honolulu, Hawaii. On the morning of December 7th, 1941 hundreds of Japanese fighter/bomber planes created an aerial assault against it. Japan hoped to weaken the American forces, and scare them from joining World War Two. However, rather hide away, America decided to become part of the Allies and fight against the Japanese.

AftermathThe bombing killed more than 2,300 Americans and destroyed both the U.S.S Arizona and the U.S.S Oklahoma. A total of twelve ships were sunk and nine others were damaged. More than 300 planes were damaged, and of those 300, 160 were destroyed.
